I've had this rug for over a year now and it is holding up very well, especially for the price. It's not especially soft, but considering the amount of foot (and cat) traffic it's sustained, I'll take durability over extra soft. It was delivered and packaged well- did not have any problems with folds or smells. The color and design really look very nice in our den.
