The rug is very thin. I think it would be good to put on top of a carpet, but not a hardwood floor without a pad.

I was going to buy some double sided carpet tape or non slip spray for this rug. But after I put it down, walking on it was no different than walking on the wood floor.

Also, since it is so thin and light, it really slips around on a hardwood floor. So much so that it is unusable on a hardwood floor without a non slip pad.

Other than that, reasonable looking carpet.
