Very solid wood. The drawers look like they were carved from the single piece of wood. The finish is solid. The drawers are not flimsy at all and the dividers are solid and beefy. This thing will never break, you could sit on it. The finish is thick. It's smaller than it looks though, it's like a jewelery cabinet.

I am not sure if it is worth the listed $180, to some it would be due to the uniqueness, but I can get antique oak full-size furniture for that. But again, this is a unique hand-carved piece that is very well built with a high attention to detail. To someone where money is not as much of an object as quality, this is one of the most solid knick-knack thingy you could get.
