I purchased this coffee table because it was advertised as 26" wide, but when I received it it is really 28" wide. Its huge in our living room and if I could return it without costing so much in shipping and restocking fees I would. The reason I didn't buy it from the local store at $139 was because it was clearly 28" wide. The vendor also wouldn't do a low price match guarantee as promoted on their site "because the local price was too low". They agreed to a 10% discount for their price match after threats of bad publicity. As far as the table goes, it is all wood and does require assembly of the legs and casters. It's fairly easy to put together, but its big. Moves about easy enough. I wish I hadn't bought it.
