The rug is not what I expected. I didn't realize "wool" jute is a soft cloth, not tough jute strands. My cats have pulled up all the top thread strands, and the finish captures dog and cat hairs like a magnet. It is very hard to vacuum and clean. I have to use a rolling sticky brush constantly and that takes forever. If you have a pristine clean house with no hair, dust or threads to land on it, this pretty blue rug might look nice. It's pointless as a floor covering for us however.
