Nostalgia Leigh 100-Percent Cotton Fabric and Fill, Embroidered Bedspread with Unique Tier Scalloped Edge and Dimensional Trapunto Quilting, King Review

I went with the King size for my Queen size bed based on suggestions in some of the other reviews for this type of bedspread. I purchased a 2.5" matress topper which caused all my other comforters and quilts to be too small. The topper put my matress to 13". I wanted the bedspread to touch the floor like in the photo. But it drug about three inches on all three sides. Also the trapunto stiching didn't fall on the edge of the bed and looked off. The other reason I had to return the King size was because it had a black mark in the center of it which may have come out if washed. I exchanged it for the Queen size and it fits nicely. It doesn't touch the floor by 6 inches, so I purchase a sage bedskirt Egyptian Cotton 300 Thread Count Queen Bedskirt Solid, Sageand it matches the green embroidered leaves. This is a good quality quilt with no loose threads and the cotton feels great.(see update) It is also long enough to tuck the pillows under it. Hopefully it won't shrink when I wash it. I highly recommend this item. Update: Since I wrote this review, I have discovered several flaws in the embroidery. First, some of the gold embroidery was missing and I had to match the thread and embroider about five gold dots. Second, I discovered that one of the larger flowers at the top edge had been replaced with a stitched on embroidered patch where the original emboidered flower was supposed to be. It had been sewn on sideways so I removed and restiched it. Also, the embroidery on the top pattern doesn't line up on the design. This is not the quality I was hoping for. If you aren't a perfectionist, then you probably wouldn't notice or mind. If you purchase this item, check out the embroidery.

Nice chair, comfortable, soft cushy seat and back, extra thick padding in front under knees, but I thought "espresso" was a dark coffee-like brown. At least that's what the office star company said it was when I called. If you just look at it by itself it looks black. Only when you put it near something actually black will you see a very minor difference...perhaps I could say "off black". There is hardly any brown-ness too it. Just want you to know in case you were trying to match it to your decor as I was. I'm keeping it though, it's already put together, and actually quite nice looking. Edit: forgot to mention that I did put this together myself. (female, age over 65, 110 lbs). It wasn't hard at all. I did use a plyers to hold the allen wrench (which was provided) to tighten the screws. My old chair wouldn't raise up any more and I couldn't reach my desk. This goes up and down easily and smoothly with the little lever underneath the seat. (Not like the old kind that you had to swivel around to raise and lower.) Also, since I'm only 5'2", I can put my feet on the base which is appx 4 inches off the floor near the casters, and my feet don't dangle in the air! My 30 year old chair is going to the thrift store.

This table was purchased for our small home office, to hold a second computer that is a laptop. It must sound silly that I bought a table for a laptop, but I found I could not work with the computer any other way. I was delighted to find a table 27 1/2 inches high, just right for keyboard use. The table arrived quickly and free of shipping charges via UPS, and the driver brought it right up to the back door.

As promised, the table was simple to put together, after a bit of confusion over the language-free, diagram-only directions. But then things began to go downhill... The table's surface is a cheap laminate, and mine was damaged in two places. Both were near the back edge, and I couldn't see going through the hassle of a return, but I sure felt like I'd bought a "used" product. Next, the hardware holding the legs to the top literally fell apart. Why would you make a large bolt with a head made up of a piece of plastic that had been poorly attached? The fix for that was a longer bolt with a matching wingnut for each leg, purchased at my trusty True Value.

The table is a perfect fit for for its use, and I'm happy with the purchase. I won't buy the brand again though, because I'll remember the poor quality of some of its parts.

I have super thick rock hard versions of this chair also purchased from a restaurant supplier. They are indestructible and can hold a heavy person but they are no substitute for long term office seating. They HURT after an hour so these are great waiting room chairs or kitchen table chairs at a vacation home because the lacquer should hold up to humid conditions. They are decidedly TOO Yankee however.

Olive Wood Nativity Set- Traditional Carvings Review

This nativity was to be a wedding gift. When it arrived, baby Jesus' hand was broken off! My 89 year old mother worked hard to glue it back on and make it look perfect, since it was her gift to her granddaughter! She has a tradition of giving nativity sets from Bethlehem as wedding gifts to her grandchildren.
Other than that, the set looked great and well done. We were all very pleased with the final product (after gluing).
